Compare Points After the Two Fuji Races
Tested with the Top 5 Drivers
Set the points earned in the two consecutive Fuji races (Rounds 9 and 10) and see how each driver's total points change. This is a simple simulator comparing the top 5 drivers as of the end of Round 8. Drivers ranked 6th and below are not included in the calculation, so this does not determine the championship decision.

Points Comparison of Top 5 Drivers
The difference between 1st place and 2nd place is 45.5pt. This is within the maximum 46pt that can be earned in the two Suzuka races.
This comparison only targets the top 5 drivers. Results for drivers ranked 6th and below are not included, so it cannot be used to determine if the champion is confirmed. The points are as of the end of Round 8 at SUGO.
Knowing this makes it even more fun.
Trivia about the title battle
The 1 Point from Qualifying Might Matter in the End
Qualifying awards 3, 2, and 1 points to the top 3 drivers. The title battle starts even before the race. Keep an eye on the morning qualifying sessions on both Saturday and Sunday.
Why Is There a "0.5pt"?
This season’s opening race didn’t reach 75% of the scheduled distance, so the final race awarded half points. That’s why driver Iwasa has 59.5 points. The half point could remain decisive until the very end.
If tied, the number of high-score wins matters
If the final points are the same, the ranking is determined by the number of times a higher score was achieved. It’s not just a simple total.
Mathematically, 13 drivers have a chance at the title
Adding up to a maximum of 92 points remaining, up to 13th place in the standings after Round 8 can surpass the leader’s 105 points. The door to a major comeback is still open.
Whether the champion has been decided or not.
The story’s final destination is Suzuka.
If it’s a title showdown, witness that moment. If a champion is crowned at Fuji, witness the victory lap welcoming the new champion and the final battle of all drivers. In either scenario, witness the culmination of 2026.
