■Porsche Carrera Cup Japan Round 1
PCCJ (Porsche Carrera Cup Japan) is the fastest one-make race in Japan, literally fought by Porsche. This year marks the 24th year since its start in 2001. The machine used is the Porsche 911 GT3 CUP (Type 992), which is already in race specification when delivered, hence also known as "Cup Car".

One of the features is that no modifications are allowed. Only minor adjustments such as suspension and tire pressure are permitted, with the engine and transmission being completely sealed. This is to ensure equal conditions and to allow drivers to compete based on their skills.

But that doesn't mean it's lacking in any way. The 4-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder DOHC engine squeezes out 510 horsepower, and the 6-speed paddle shift transmission delivers it all without holding back. The tires also use Michelin racing slicks.

■Ferrari Challenge Japan Round 1
The Ferrari Challenge, which has been held in Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and Italy, will start a new series in Japan as "Ferrari Challenge Japan" in 2023. In its second year, 2024, there are plans for 5 events and 10 races, and this event, held in conjunction with the F1 Japanese Grand Prix, will be the season opener.

The machine used is the Ferrari 388 Challenge Evo. More than 20 drivers from Japan, the United States, South Korea, and other countries participate, competing for victories in the TROFEO PIRELLI, TROFEO PIRELLI AM, COPPA SHELL, and COPPA SHELL AM classes based on their past records.
