NISMO celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2024. From its history of challenges and glory, this special model pays respect to the racing cars that won titles between 1984 and 1997, featuring the original logo. The oval design logo that decorates the successive vehicles and the red, blue, and white tricolor are incorporated throughout, expressing NISMO's racing spirit. This special model was completed with full support from Nissan Motor Corporation and NISMO, from planning to supervision, through actual vehicle inspections and interviews with related personnel.

NISMO was born in 1984, inheriting Nissan's motorsports tradition that has continued since 1936. Through domestic and international racing activities, high-performance models, and the development of custom parts, it provides customers with the joy and excitement of driving.
Casio Computer has supported the NISMO team since 2003 and has supported the team's No. 23 car as the EDIFICE brand since 2021.

1 Tricolor Design That Tells the Origin of NISMO

Inspired by the color scheme of the first-generation NISMO logo used from its founding in 1984 until 1997. The red, blue, and white tricolor, which adorned many race cars as the colors of the Nissan works team—including the "R91CP," which achieved the first overall victory for a Japanese car at the 1992 Daytona 24 Hours—evokes the heroic image of NISMO that left its name known worldwide.

2 The Glorious Symbol Passed Down: The First-Generation NISMO Logo

Boldly arranged at the center of the dial is the oval-designed first-generation NISMO logo. Inspired by the illuminated car numbers seen during night runs in endurance races, it features a luminescent treatment that emits a vivid glow in the dark. This symbolizes the origin of NISMO and the glory passed down over 40 years, expressed in a style unique to EDIFICE.

3 Memorial Design Engraving the Names of Title-Winning Cars Through the Years

The band is printed with the vehicle model numbers of the historic race cars that won titles bearing the first-generation NISMO logo. It chronicles the glorious history from NISMO’s founding in 1984 through 1997, when the original logo was used. At the tip, the design features NISMO’s signature carp streamer motif, unveiled at domestic races held in May. It sprinkles elements that delight fans’ hearts.

4 One-Point Accent Paying Homage to the Legendary Calsonic Skyline

Paying homage to the R32 Skyline GT-R (Calsonic Skyline), which dominated the 1990s racing scene clad in vivid blue. The watch’s crystal is likened to the vehicle’s windshield, and the “SAPPHIRE” marking indicating the glass material is adorned with colors and fonts inspired by the front windshield decal.

4 Tricolor Band Inspired by Racing Suits

Inspired by the racing suits featuring the original NISMO logo that were active in endurance races during the 1980s. It features red and blue lines on a white base, with a distinctive striped design on the keeper loop. The front surface uses white genuine leather, while the back uses suede-like synthetic leather dyed red and blue for the long and short bands.
