    F1を好きになったきっかけを教えてください。
    NetFlixのドキュメンタリーを見たこと。あとは義理の兄がF1の大ファンだったから。彼が私たちにいろいろと教えてくれて、さらに好きになった。それ以前は、F1のことはまったく知らなかった。この3～4年だから、新人ファンだね。
    推しチーム&ドライバーを教えてください。
    レッドブル、マックス・フェルスタッペン。ルイス・ハミルトン。ウイリアムズ時代からジョージ・ラッセルのエネルギッシュな走りも好き。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    私たちは韓国に住んでいて、日本に来るほうがアメリカに帰るよりも近いから。鈴鹿はアクセスもいいし、チケットもアメリカよりずっと安い。アメリカでは多分、鈴鹿の2～3倍はすると思う。それに観客がアメリカよりもずっとクール。

    【行ったことがある】今回が初めて。

    名古屋に滞在していて今回はレースだけ。

    今回の来日（日本グランプリ観戦）で困ったこと、大変だったことは？
    まったくない。公共交通機関が充実していてとても快適だった。アメリカより効率的で時間どおりだし、清潔だった。
    この会場や、日本で食べて美味しかったものを教えてください。
    まだ食べていないけど、カレーを食べたい。ラーメンと和牛も。
    お土産で買いたいものはありますか？
    10歳ぐらいの従兄弟がいて、ポケモンと遊戯王が大好きだから、彼のためにトレーディングカードを買いたい。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    We started watching the documentary about it on Netflix, and our brother in-law is very big into Formula 1, and so he taught us more about it and introduced us more to it.
    Favorite Team or Driver
    Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell; I started really liking him when he was at Williams.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    We are currently living in Korea. So, it was very easy for us to fly over here and stay over here. It was about a 2-hour flight versus 12, 14, 18-hour flights that we would have taken from the United States. Also, Suzuka, the accessibility of getting onto the track, buying tickets was a lot much cheaper than what we would be able to buy in the States. It would have been probably two or three times the price.

    We are currently right now staying and visiting Nagoya.

    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    No. It's been a very pleasant experience. We've loved the public transportation. It's a lot more efficient than in the United States. Everything is on time. Everything is so clean.
    What foods good for you in Japan?
    I want some Japanese curry. Wagyu, ramen.
    What buy (bought) in Japan
    I have a cousin who's maybe 10 or 11 years old who loves Pokémon. And he loves Yu-Gi-Oh! So I would want to get him some trading cards in Japanese.

    F1を好きになったきっかけを教えてください。
    昔からF1が好きで家族みんなで観戦する日が来るのを楽しみにしていました。でも息子は鉄道にしか興味がなくなかなか実現しなかったんですが、2019年に「頼むからF1に一緒に行こう」と息子を連れてきたら、「鉄道よりもF1だ！」となって「鈴鹿じゃなきゃ行かない」くらいになりました。

    アルピーヌ、ピエール・ガスリー（亡くなった友人のために走って結果を出していたから）。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    絶対くると決めていました。ちなみに特別ヘルメットは製作期間3カ月でパーツが交換できる仕様です。

    京都の車折神社。芸能の神社ですが『車』が名前についているので。南禅寺の山門も凛とした佇まいですよ。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    Seasoned F1 fan myself, I've been longing to come with all my family, however, my son had only eyes to railway trains. In 2019, I begged him to go and watch F1 with me, and bingo! "F1 is way cool than train," he said. The heart of my son is now fully occupied by the love for Suzuka.

    Alpine and Pierre Gasly. He drove for his passed friend and got results.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    I strongly determined to come. This special helmet took me 3 months to finish. Some parts can be changed as you like.

    Sightseeing spots for foreign F1 fans
    Kurumazaki Shrine, blessings for entertainment originally, but the word "Kuruma" which means "car" in English might work as well. The main gate of Nanzenji of its dignified appearance is another spot worth visiting.

    友人の卒業旅行で日本に旅行する計画を立てていたら、ちょうど日本GPがあったから。最高のレースが見られるならそれを逃す手はないと思って鈴鹿に来たの。

    大阪では道頓堀、京都では伏見稲荷に行った。広島へも足を運ぶ予定。最後は東京で、原宿とかジブリ美術館に行く。

    今回の来日（日本グランプリ観戦）で困ったこと、大変だったことは？
    大阪・京都間の電車で乗り間違えたけど、それぐらい。あとはスムーズ。困ったらいつも誰かが助けてくれた。これはすごくすてき。観光地には案内板があるし、スマホで電車の時刻も分かるし、便利。
    この会場や、日本で食べて美味しかったものを教えてください。
    ラーメン、和牛。それから、すべてのコンビニが気に入った。イギリスと比べて品質は高いし、値段は安い。温めてくれたり、ケアしてくれるでしょ。日本の食べ物は全部おいしい。
    お土産で買いたいものはありますか？
    ユニバーサル・スタジオでマリオのキャップを買った。日本の象徴だから。ポケモンのちょっとしたグッズ。服もあれこれ買ってカバンはいっぱい。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    My family's kind of always liked F1, my dad especially. So, kind of from the age of like 8 or so. And I like fast things. I like fast cars.

    Charles Leclerc.Hmilton's a bit rude, so I don't have a favorite.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    It wasn't really the main thing when we came to Japan. We just realized, like when we were planning the trip, that it was at the same time as the Grand Prix. So, we were just, yeah, why not? A few of us have graduated, so we're all celebrating. We wanted to come to Japan after three years of university.

    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    No. On the trip between Osaka and Kyoto, we got on the wrong train, but that's about it. It's been very smooth otherwise.
    What foods good for you in Japan?
    Ramen, wagyu. I mean all of the convenience stores are incredible. You can get it hot, you can get it, it's taken care of. It's well looked after.
    What buy (bought) in Japan
    Mario Cup. I love Pokémon. I watch lots of anime, but I've only bought one little thing, but which is fine. We will find something in the shelves. Lots of merch at the end of the trip though, so I will have a full bag.

    父が好きで地上波を一緒にみていました。社会人になって離れた時期もありましたが、日本人ドライバーが出てくるようになって3年くらい前からまた見るようになりました。
    推しチーム&ドライバーを教えてください。
    角田裕毅選手。前はフェラーリ推しでした。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    昨年初めて観戦しましたが、雨が降って寒かったけれどもハマりました。チケットがとれたら今年も来ようと決めていました。あとは来年出産予定なのでゆっくり観戦できるのは最後かなと思いました。

    I had watched F1 on TV with my father in the past. When Japanese drivers emerged again, 3-years or so ago, I came back to follow F1.

    Yuki Tsunoda. I used be a Ferrari fan.

    Last year we watched the race in the rain. It was cold but fan. So, I deceived I'd come again if we got tickets. As my wife and I are expecting baby next April, I may not have chance to come next year.

    父が家でF1を見ていて、僕らも見ている。テレビとYouTubeを見て、いろいろなドライバーがいて好きになった。それ以前、知っていたのは母国のリカルドぐらい。

    ちょうど休暇で日本に旅行に来て、同じタイミングで日本GPがあったから。学校が休みの時期だから。

    京都、大阪、広島、東京。大阪ではユニバーサル・スタジオ、東京ではディズニーに行きたい。その他にも広島では宮島の神社とか、あとは食べ物屋にたくさん行きたい。

    ときどき電車の乗り換えで混乱したこと。どの線に乗ればいいか見つけるのが、ちょっと難しかった。電車を降りたらバスに乗って、サーキットにはすぐ着いた。

    F1のグッズ、ポケモンカードやピカチューのぬいぐるみ。もう3ヶ所ポケモンショップに行った。

    It's fun. It's cool, seeing them go around this. A lot of different kinds of drivers to go for.

    Because we were coming on a holiday to Japan, and it just happened to be at the same time the Grand Prix was on. So, we decided to come.

    No. But sometimes we get confused because of the trains, knowing where to hop on and hop off from that. Or just to find which line to get on.

    フェルナンド・アロンソ。ドライビングだけでなく集中力がすごいところが魅力です。

    鈴鹿は初めてです。コロナでなかなか来られなかったので今年は絶対、と決めていました。

    山中湖に3回くらい行っていますが、とくに朝、富士山がキレイです。

    I'm from Shanghai, went to Chinese GP and saw Fernando Alonso, instantly became F1 fan.

    Fernando Alonso. He's great as a driver and I think his concentration is amazing.

    It's my first time to come to Suzuka. I could finally make it thanks to the settlement of COVID.

    Lake Yamanakako. I've been there 3 times already. Mount Fuji is very beautiful in the early morning.

    F1を好きになったきっかけを教えてください。
    （クリス）子供の頃は家族でF1を見ていた。その後は見たり見なかったりしていたが、近年NetFlixのドキュメンタリーを見て、再びF1を楽しむようになった。
    推しチーム&ドライバーを教えてください。
    （クリス）イギリス人ドライバー。中でも、ジョージ・ラッセルとルイス・ハミルトン。

    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    日本食や日本の文化が好きだけど、これまで日本に来たことがなかった。いつも「日本に行きたい」と考えていたし、「F1にも行きたい」と思っていたんだ。その両方をまとめらるならば、とてもいい機会になると思った。

    【行きたい】シンガポール、アメリカのどこか、シルバーストンを含むヨーロッパのどこか。
    鈴鹿以外に観光に行く予定はありますか？
    大阪に2日間滞在して鈴鹿で2晩過ごした後に、東京に2日間行って、プーケットに帰る。大阪では、心斎橋に行った。東京では新宿に行く予定。

    【観戦したかったエリア】V1、V2 初めてだからグランドスタンドで見てみたかったが、チケットが見つけられなかった。
    今回の来日（日本グランプリ観戦）で困ったこと、大変だったことは？
    日本の人たちはとても親切で手助けもしてくれた。ただ、鈴鹿に来るための駅を探すのは結構大変だった。それに私たちは特急列車を予約していなかったから特急が満員で……。各駅停車できたから少し時間がかかった。それ以外は、レストランで食べ過ぎてしまうことだけ（苦笑）。
    この会場や、日本で食べて美味しかったものを教えてください。
    寿司、刺身、和牛ビーフ。なかでも日本で本物の寿司を食べてしまったのは大いに問題。おいしすぎて、自分たちの寿司に対する基準が上がってしまったから。
    お土産で買いたいものはありますか？
    値段が安かったのもあって、靴を買った。日本の人たちはとてもお洒落で選ぶブランドも趣味がいいと思ったから。

    Growing up, I used to always watch Formula 1 on a Sunday with the family, and then we got into the Netflix documentary, and it sort of brought us back to enjoying Formula 1. This is our first time here.

    English drivers, Max Verstappen.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    We came to Japan because we've never been before. We love Japanese food. We like the culture of Japan. We've always wanted to visit. We've always wanted to go at the F1 also. We thought if we can combine the two, it's a good opportunity for us.

    [would like to] Singapore, GPs in US, Silverstone or other European GPs.
    Where to go in Japan besides Suzuka Circuit (Sightseeing)
    We landed, we flew into Osaka. We had two nights in Osaka. Obviously, we're here for two nights now in Suzuka, and then we're going to go to Tokyo for two nights, and then we'll go back to Phuket, Thailand.
    How long staying in Japan?
    1 week.

    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    No. But sometimes we get confused because of the trains, knowing where to hop on and hop off from that. Or just to find which line to get on.
    What foods good for you in Japan?
    Sashimi, sushi, beef, wagyu beef. It's caused a bit of a problem because we like sushi a lot but when you come to Japan, you taste real sushi. So, when we go back, it won't be the same as is in Japan.
    What buy (bought) in Japan
    Shoes. Since coming to Japan, we see the people dressed so nice. The Japanese people are dressed so well in the designer brands…

    ルクレール選手を見たくて、父を無理やり誘ってきました。

    この会場に来たら買うものは？
    入場前にフェラーリのキャップを買ったんですが、場内にはもっといろんな物が売っていたので、いろいろ見てから買えばよかったなと思いました。でも決勝日だと売り切れも多いんですね。

    サーキットだけですね。

    I came across Charles Leclerc on Instagram. "Who's this cute guy?" As I dug into it and researched F1.

    Ferrari and Charles Leclerc.

    I wanted to see Leclerc so that I had my father come with me.

    I bought a Ferrari cap somewhere else, however, I later found more shops selling more items inside. Probably I'd made a rash decision, but it's OK in the end. Because I noticed many items sold out even before the race day!

    日本に来たら、グランプリも開催されていることに気づいたんだ。それで日本GPに行こうという気持ちになって、F1観戦を休暇の中心にしようと思った。

    何も問題はない。とても快適に日本中を旅することができている。人々も親切だし、タクシーの運転手もとてもいい。Suicaを手に入れた途端、すべてが簡単になった。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    Netflix, so Drive to Survive. My sister's a big fan of the Netflix show, and then she got me into it, so I started watching it myself. Before I knew a little bit. I knew some of the drivers, some of the storylines. So when you are listening on the radio about what's going on, like, you know about the Vettels, the Hamiltons, the Rosbergs, and everything.

    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    We were coming to Japan, and we sort of realized that the Grand Prix was on as well, so we were like let's make our way to the Grand Prix. We made this the central point of our holiday.

    We've just been – we were in Tokyo and then we went to Kyoto. After this, we're going to go to Osaka and then back to Kyoto. Hopefully, we're going to go to Disneyland.

    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    No, no problems at all. Very easy. Everyone is very friendly. Taxi drivers are very nice as well. As soon as you get Suica you are sorted.

    Kobe beef, beef cutlet, beef tongue, Unagi, tako kushiyaki, takoyaki.

    高校生のころに琢磨選手を見に予選だけきました。そのあとF1から離れていたのですが、コロナ禍でまた見始めたら角田選手がF2で活躍しているのを知って、またF1に興味を持つようになりました。角田選手の存在が大きいですね。

    When Takuma Sato was driving in F1, my father watched it on TV and I naturally joined him. I find It's cool that Japanese drivers challenging the top-notch category of the world motor racing.

    最初は電車の路線や案内や信号が多すぎてビックリしたけど、落ち着いて周りを見たらどこにどう行けばいいか分かったし、何も問題なかった。日本語が話せなくても旅することができて、すばらしいね。

    ラーメン。渋谷では日本の紳士が案内役をしてくれるナイトツアーに行って、いろいろな物を食べた。

    At the start, we were shocked and confused, but then when you just stand back and look at it, everything is quite easy to follow. It's all very good. Incredible, since we don't speak Japanese, we don't read Japanese, but the Japanese make it possible to follow, I think.

    In Shibuya, we had an evening tour with a young Japanese gentleman and another family, and we went to three bars. Ramen.

    Just something symbolic of Japan, just something small, something we can put in the house and remember we went to Japan. Model cars.

    I watched F1 on TV for so long, and then met my husband who was a big F1 fan. He'd got job transfer to US later on, and we enjoyed IndyCar race where Takuma Sato was showing remarkable performance. That's why all my family fell in love with motorsport. We've been here since last year because our children got old enough.

    We actually started watching the Drive to Survive. That's when we started watching but then, after that, we just stopped watching it, we're completely watching the races through the F1 site now, so it's more the website now.

    Because there's something that Sebastian Vettel once said, "This track was designed by the Gods. This track was designed by the Gods." Sebastian Vettel said that once, so it has always been a dream to attend the Suzuka F1. I wanted the first F1 to be special, so here we are.

    空港に深夜12時過ぎに着いて、すでに公共交通機関がなかったこと。東京みたいな大都市で、その時間に電車が走っていないなんて信じられなかった。タクシーしかなかったし、そのタクシーも40～45分も待たなければならなかった。まさか世界最大の都市でそんなことが起こるとは思わなかった。あとは、鈴鹿に来るために、日をまたいで借りられるレンタル自転車屋があればいいと思った。電車とバスを使うより、自転車のほうが速いけど、鈴鹿にも四日市にも津にもレンタル自転車が見当たらなかった。

    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    And for me, Suzuka has always been an epic track ever since I was small, and I always played F1 games first with Suzuka track, and I always wanted to come here. Since they had plans to come to Japan and I said, okay, fine, I'll make a holiday with Japan, so they got the tickets for us, so we all just came for the Grand Prix.

    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    We arrived at 12 o'clock in the night and we realized from there to go to the hotel there is no public transport. And for a city which is 20 million people, I couldn't believe that there is no public transport to take you in the city, so we had to wait for… Only taxis and we had to wait for a taxi also for like 40-45 minutes with everyone, so it was very unexpected for the biggest city in the world.
    What foods good for you in Japan?
    Natto, Ramen, Sushi, Japanese curry.

    ずっと関東に住んでいたのですが、名古屋に移ってアクセスがよくなったのが大きいです。グランツーリスモなどでコースは知っていましたが、初めてきてみて音や雰囲気が素晴らしくて、チケットを買ってきた価値はあるなと思いました。

    My parents taught it to me. It was the Ayrton Senna era but I was too young to fully understand his supremacy. I rerun the video when I grew up, and reaffirm it all over again. It's quite an era, wasn't it?

    I'd lived in Kanto area for long and then moved to Nagoya, and the access to Suzuka got easier for me. I knew the track already through touring car races, but the sound, atmosphere and everything else were splendid when it comes to F1 It's worth buying a ticket even if it's felt expensive.

    日本にすごく来たかったし、先週から2週間旅をしているんだけど、鈴鹿に行かない手はないと思った。鈴鹿は伝統的なコースで、長い歴史があるから、来たいと思っていたんだ。

    東京では、渋谷、原宿、新宿、浅草などを回った。富士スピードウェイではエクスペアリエンスセンターに行ったし、彼らが「ファン・トゥ・ドライブ」と呼んでいるプログラムに参加して、日本のスポーツカーで箱根周辺に行った。とても良かったよ。このあと京都に行くけど、茶道を体験したいし、嵐山で湯豆腐を食べたい。

    I have always been a fan of motorsport and I always used to follow it when I was a kid but when ‘Drive to Survive’ started, that's when I really started following it again.

    Verstappen and Hamilton. We're really looking forward to seeing Liam Lawson come through as well.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    We really wanted to come to Japan and so we've been travelling in Japan for the last week or two and so we thought why not go to the Formula 1 at the same time. We've also been to Singapore F1 and Melbourne as well. But Suzuka is one of the traditional circuits. It has been around for a very long time, so always wanted to come here.

    We did the GR experience, driving around the Fuji Speedway, and also did the thing called ‘Fun to Drive’ which is they take you for a drive in Japanese sports cars around Hakone, the traditional initial day roads, which was really, really good. We're going to Kyoto and want to do traditional, the tea ceremonies, see the temples. And hot tofue at Arashiyama.

    No, we found it surprisingly easy. Everyone is so polite and so friendly and very helpful.
