    昨年仕事で日本に来て、今年の1月に日本の写真を友人たちに見せたら、みんな『日本に行きたい』ということになって、日本GPを選んだ。

    【行ったことがある】モンツァ、メキシコGPに行く予定。

    鈴鹿以外に観光に行く予定はありますか？
    東京と京都。京都で寺社を訪ねたり、東京では東京タワーや渋谷、スクランブル交差点に行きたい。

    I was here in January, and I showed some pictures to my friends, and they were, "Okay, we want to be there in Japan," and we choose Japan.

    マクラーレン、ランド・ノリス。ノリスは年齢が近いのと、キャラクターが好きです。

    ずっと来たかったのですがコロナがあったり予定が合わなかったりしました。今年やっと来られました。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    I started watching F1 as my friend recommended it to me. A lot of things happen at the same time, overtaking, pit-in, accidents and many others in the race. I love F1 of such a frenzy nature!

    COVID and my schedule didn't allow me for long. I'm glad I could make it, finally!

    NetFlixの『Drive to Survive』を見たから。それまではフェラーリとシューマッハーぐらいしか知らなかった。フィリピンではテレビ中継もなかったから。

    レースの前後に日本観光をしたかったから。

    【行ったことがある】今回が初めて。
    【行きたい】フィリピンに近いし、ナイトレースだからシンガポール。フェラーリの地元だからモンツァ。
    鈴鹿以外に観光に行く予定はありますか？
    大阪のユニバーサル・スタジオや道頓堀に行った。ディズニーシーにも行く予定。あとは富士山、銀座でショッピング、食べ物屋もたくさん行きたい。

    今回の来日（日本グランプリ観戦）で困ったこと、大変だったことは？
    大阪から来るのに何度も乗り換えが必要だったこと。電車がたくさんありすぎて乗り遅れてしまい、時間をロスしてしまった。時刻表は分かりやすかったけれど、電車が多すぎて、どのプラットフォームなのか迷ってしまった。
    この会場や、日本で食べて美味しかったものを教えてください。
    たこ焼き。フィリピンでも好きな食べ物だから。でも、日本のたこ焼きのほうがずっとおいしい。神戸牛もトライしてみたい。

    We wanted to see the sites in Japan as well after seeing the race.

    Going to Mt. Fuji, Ginza, Harajuku. We went Dotonbori at Osaka, USJ yesterday.

    [hope] Turn 9.
    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    The train lines are very confusing and sometimes we miss the train schedule, so we have to get to the next train. So, we really wasted a lot of time because of that.
    What foods good for you in Japan?
    Takoyaki because it's a favorite of ours also in the Philippines. But the Takoyaki here is so much better. Kobe Beef.

    Matcha powder and the bamboo whisk.

    アーサー&ポール、香港（ポールは名古屋在住・レーシングチーム在籍中）、38歳&28歳
    F1を好きになったきっかけを教えてください。
    （アーサー）子どものころからモータースポーツが好きだった。父がクルマ好きで、僕もクルマ好きで、F1にハマった。最近は、F1よりGTレースのほうが好きだったけど、『Drive to Survive』を見て、何年か前からまた見るようになった。
    （ポール）私はクラフトバンブーレーシングに所属していて、仕事でGT3のレースをやっているんだ。だからレースが好きなんだ。
    推しチーム&ドライバーを教えてください。
    リアム・ローソン。いい仕事をしているから。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    （アーサー）これまでF1に行きたかったけど、値段が高くて躊躇していた。でも鈴鹿は好きなサーキットだから思い切って来た。
    （ポール）名古屋に引越したのは、鈴鹿が近いから。クルマで来られる距離だから、鈴鹿にはできるだけ足を運んでいる。初めてのグランプリ観戦は鈴鹿に決めていた。

    【行ったことがある】今回が初めて。
    【行きたい】富士が復活すれば富士。スパ、モンツァ、オランダ、オーストリア。次の4月の鈴鹿。

    大阪でショッピングしたり、おいしいものを食べる。心斎橋でカメラとレンズを買った。

    【観戦したかったエリア】130R、シケイン。その他にも鈴鹿はいいコーナーが多すぎて選ぶのが大変。次回はフォトグラファーパスをもらって、好きなところで写真を撮りたい。
    今回の来日（日本グランプリ観戦）で困ったこと、大変だったことは？
    名古屋からの電車が満員だったから、もう少し便数が多ければもう少し楽に移動できると思ったけど、全体的には問題ない。

    ミニカー。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    I always liked motorsport when I was a kid. My father always liked cars, and I like cars, so I got into it. I haven't got into it until recently. Like, I was more on the GT racing side of stuff until a couple years ago when I started – because of Drive to Survive, I kind of got into F1 as well. And I work at GT3, it's Craft-Bamboo Racing.
    Favorite Team or Driver
    Liam Lawson right now. He's being called up and he's doing a really good job.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    It's always been very expensive, so I couldn't afford it. But Suzuka is my favorite track.
    I'm living at Nagoya and the reason I moved to is because it's close to Suzuka. I know that Nagoya is like driving distance, so like I can come here as often as I can.

    [would like to] Fuji Speedway, Spa, Monza, Zandvoort, Austria, next Suzuka.

    I went to Shinsaibashi, I went to do some shopping for my camera, to prepare for the race, to buy a lens.

    [hope] 130R, Chicane. I'll try to get the media photographer's pass so I can go everywhere.
    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    Train was just packed. I hope there are a few more trains from Nagoya to here to make it a little bit easier.

    Unagi, sushi, yakiniku.

    僕は16歳の時からF1を見ていて、昔はヨーロッパのレースを全部見て回っていた。最近、NetFlixの番組が話題になっていて刺激を受けたから、また見るようになった。

    アルファタウリ、リアム・ローソン。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    息子の日本人の親友が松山に住んでいて、ニュージーランドの学校の休み期間に訪ねることにしていたんだけど、ちょうどその時に日本GPもあったから。日本の観客はすばらしいし、サーキットも抜群にいい。それにニュージーランドは冬だけど、日本はまだ暖かいから。

    【行ったことがある】ヨーロッパの全戦。かつてロンドンに住んでいた時期に、バンに乗ってキャンプしながら全部回った。 【行きたい】-

    京都、広島、松山。松山では息子の友人一家が面倒を見てくれる。その後、東京に戻って、ポケモンショッピングをする。

    ない。日本の公共交通機関は世界一。リストを作ってあるけど、とても簡単に旅することができる。すごく便利。

    餃子、寿司、ラーメン。セブン・イレブンのおにぎり。マスタード・チキン。バター・パンケーキも食べたい。

    I've been following Formula 1 since I was 16, and I've been all around Europe following it. The recent Netflix series has inspired me to follow it again, and we are visiting friends in Japan for school holidays.

    Liam Lawson and the AlphaTauri team.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    I've always wanted to come to Suzuka because I have never been to Suzuka. So, very pleased to tick that off my list. There are none others that I am aware of that I am wanting to go to.

    [have been to] All European GPs. I lived in London for a while, but I have been everywhere.

    We go to Kyoto for 3 days and then we go to Hiroshima for 1 day. Then, we visit our friends at Matsuyama.

    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    The transport in Japan is First World. It is amazing.

    Onigiri from Seven-Eleven. Gyoza, sushi, ramen, mustard chicken, pancakes with butter.

    Pokémon, figure, gacha, pottery.

    10代のころ、家族旅行として父に連れてこられたのがきっかけです。

    フェラーリ。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    ずっときているので欠かすことはないです。日本GPはファンの方がコスプレされていたりするので雰囲気が最高ですね。

    毎年いろんなチームのキャップを家族に買って帰ります。今年はメルセデスのキャップを買いました。

    焼鳥屋さん、お寿司屋さんはいつも行っています。

    外国人F1ファンにオススメの観光スポットはありますか？
    京都、奈良、東京に外国人の方と周ったことがあります。すごく気に入ってくれましたよ。あとは日本人の人の良さ！　英語が通じにくくてもみんな親切にしてくれると、皆さん口にしていました。

    I never missed the opportunity. Some Japanese spectators are amazingly elaborative in their costumes that makes the atmosphere very special.

    I brought my friends from abroad to Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo. They enjoyed the trip very much and deeply appreciated the kindness, politeness and hospitality of Japanese people all despite the language barrier they had.

    F1を好きになったきっかけを教えてください。
    セバスチャン・ベッテルがレッドブルにいたころ、トップギアを見て好きになった。10年ぐらい前かな。そのうち母もファンになったんだ。NetFlixの番組が放送されてからは全戦見ているよ。
    推しチーム&ドライバーを教えてください。
    マクラーレン時代からダニエル・リカルド。今回は欠場だから、ユウキを応援する。マックス・フェルスタッペンも好き。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    日本GPのチケットが手に入ったというのもあるけど、日本の文化や人々が好きだから。日本には、旅行やスノーボードで何度も来ている。

    【行ったことがある】今回が初めて
    【行きたい】来年オーストラリアGPに行く。

    京都。嵐山の竹藪や祇園、多くの寺社に行った。金閣寺にも足を伸ばしたし、鞍馬山や貴船でハイキングもした。奈良と大阪では、奈良公園や道頓堀に行った。東京では明治神宮に毎回行っている。東京タワーやチームラボ・プラネッツにも行く予定。

    ない。とても旅がしやすい。オーストラリアよりも交通機関がちゃんとしている。

    お弁当、ラーメン。京都で飲んだ冷たい抹茶。濁り酒。
    お土産で買いたいものはありますか？
    トヨタ記念美術館でいろいろなものを買った。シャンパンに美しいお箸も買った。茶せんや抹茶も買う予定だし、濁り酒も買いたい。鈴鹿ではアルファタウリのTシャツなどを買いたい。

    [hope] S Corner. I think the S curve you don't get to see lots of overtakes maybe, but it's some of the most beautiful driving because the cars have to drive up the hill through the curves, and it just looks great.

    No, this guy picked me up at the airport, so it was nice and easy to get home. And I’m used to it a lot.

    I came because it's an old traditional circuit, one of the old circuits, one of the best circuits to watch an F1 race on. Last year, we went to watch the Baku Race. I saw the Baku Race. He went to Abu Dhabi as well. But I'd seen a City Circuit. I've seen a race in India also on the circuit. I wanted to see the Suzuka one.

    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    彼と今年の1月から1年間、南アジアを旅行中なんだけど、その旅のなかでどこか1カ所はグランプリに行きたいなと話していて、日本GPを選んだの。シンガポールは少し値段が高かったし、日本に来るいい理由のひとつにもなったから。

    大阪、京都、広島、最後に東京に行く予定。具体的なプランは決めていないけど、寺社仏閣や美術館などに行きたい。日本はとても大きな国だから、最低でも1カ月は滞在しないとすべてを見切れない。

    南アジアは全体的に旅するのがらくちん。名古屋の地下鉄の駅を見つけるのが少し大変だったけど、それ以外は問題なし。

    まだラーメンしか食べていないけど、フランスにいるときも和食が好きだったから、日本でがっかりする食べ物はないと思う。

    うーん、行った先のおみやげ屋さんで、ほしいものがあれば買おうかな。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    Like the beginning, it's my boyfriend who is a big fan of Formula 1, and so I start to follow the passion and start to watch all the Grand Prix and Formula 1. So, this is why, because of my boyfriend.

    I think it's Pierre Gasly from Alpine, of course, because he is French and it's a French team.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    We're travelling in South Asia. We start in January and this is why we choose Japan because we want to continue our trip and we say, okay, maybe we can watch one Grand Prix and okay, Singapore was a little bit too expensive, so we choose Japan, a good reason to come in Japan also.

    Where to go in Japan besides Suzuka Circuit (Sightseeing)
    We are going to go on the south, like to Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and we'll finish with Tokyo. It's just the beginning of the trip, like we arrived just few days ago. It's so big country like we need at least one month to visit all.

    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    No, it's quite hard to, difficult to understand the subway and train station in Nagoya, for example. But now for the moment it's really easy to travel around Japan.

    We love Japanese food in France, so I think there is no way that we hate it here. I'd like to try ramen.

    Not especially at the time. We will discover in the souvenir shops.

    名古屋空港からサーキットまでのタクシー料金が高かったこと。昨夜10時に着いて、レンタカー屋が閉まっていたんだ。もう鉄道しかなかったし、リアムからの迎えもなかった（苦笑）。

    As soon as we found out Liam was driving, so just two weeks ago, we quickly booked tickets and we came.

    ドイツとはだいぶ違ったけど、まったく問題なかった。ICEより新幹線のほうがずっといい。ICEは遅れるしね。ただ、名古屋から鈴鹿の最寄りに来る電車の本数がもっとあればいいなと思った。多くの人が待っていたから。名古屋からF1用の特別列車があればいいのに。

    We travel around a Japanese tour, and we wanted to see F1 Grand Prix. It's one of the traditional tracks and also the Japanese culture is something interesting, so it's a good connection to travel.

    Actually, not. Trains are a lot better than Germany, ICE. ICE is late usually. It would be nice if there would be more trains going from Nagoya to here because there are many people always standing and waiting. Special trains from Nagoya to here would be nice.

    Miso-katsu, sushi, yakiniku.
