    F1を好きになったきっかけを教えてください。
    父の影響。僕が子どもの頃から父はいつもF1を見ていた。シューマッハーの時代だね。その後、ヨス・フェルスタッペンが出てきてますます好きになった。

    マックス・フェルスタッペン、オランダ人だから。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    祖父が第二次世界大戦中、福岡の近くの水巻の捕虜収容所にいたんだ。そこに行ってみたくて日本に来た。水巻には先週行って記念碑を見てきた。その旅とグランプリを組み合わせたんだ。先週はシンガポールGPに行って、で日本GPに来たわけ。

    【行ったことがある】メキシコ、オースティン、ハンガリー・ブダペスト、ベルギー、トルコ、バーレーン、シンガポール。
    【行きたい】オランダGPは母国だけにオランダ人が多くて変な感じだから行きたくない。
    鈴鹿以外に観光に行く予定はありますか？
    長崎と福岡に行ってきた。水巻の記念碑だけでなく、長崎の原爆資料館にも行った。このあとは東京に向かう。
    今回の日本滞在日数を教えてください。
    9日間。

    【観戦したかったエリア】1コーナー。スタートとオーバーテイクが見られるから。
    今回の来日（日本グランプリ観戦）で困ったこと、大変だったことは？
    とくになし。新幹線、在来線、バスとすべてが完璧。それに日本の人たちがとても親切だった。たとえ英語を話せなくても、とても親切にしてくれた。オランダ人はここまで親切じゃない。
    この会場や、日本で食べて美味しかったものを教えてください。
    焼肉、中華の火鍋、寿司。
    お土産で買いたいものはありますか？
    着物。F1グッズはネットで買ったほうが安くて、サーキットでは高いから買わない。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    Actually this is my father. He was always watching Formula 1 and I was a small kid, and that was in the time of Schumacher, ‘92, ‘93. And then the father of Max became a Formula 1 driver at ‘94. And I was a big fan. We were a big fan of Jos Verstappen. And now his son, Max, is the number one.
    Favorite Team or Driver
    Max Verstappen. We are from Holland.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    It's his grandfather who was in Japanese prison camp in the World War II. And he was in the camp in Mizumaki. Mizumaki is a small town near Fukuoka. He was captured there by the Japanese in the war, and he was imprisoned over there. And we went there last Tuesday. We went there to the monuments. We went to Singapore as well.
    GPs I have been to / I'd like to go
    [have been to] Mexico, Austin, Hungary, Spa, Turkey, Bahrain, Singapore.
    [would NOT like to] Holland because it is a little bit strange but there are too many Dutch people.
    Where to go in Japan besides Suzuka Circuit (Sightseeing)
    Nagasaki and Fukuoka. Then Tokyo.
    How long staying in Japan?
    9 days.
    The area I watch / I hope to watch
    [watch] Q2, Chicane.
    [hope] 1 Corner. There you can see the start.
    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    No. It's very easy. And also, with the Shinkansen and the trains and the buses, it is perfect.
    And the Japanese are very gentle. They don't speak English, but they'll always help you. Dutch people are not so nice than Japanese people.
    What foods good for you in Japan?
    Korean barbecue, Chinese hot pot, Japanese sushi.
    What buy (bought) in Japan
    Kimono. F1 items are expensive at circuits. If you buy on the internet, it's much cheaper.

    F1を好きになったきっかけを教えてください。
    2006年に鈴鹿での日本GPが最後になるというので、父が勝手にチケットを買ってきて見にいました。そうしたらスピードも音もすごいし、綺麗でハマりました。あとこんなにたくさんの人が来るんだなというのも印象的でした。
    推しチーム&ドライバーを教えてください。
    昔はフェラーリが、いまはホンダが関わっているのでレッドブルです。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    10回くらい観戦していますが、コロナ禍で来れない時期が続いたので、うずうずしていました！

    【行ったことがある】オーストラリアとマレーシア。楽しかったですけど日本GPは観客の影響か、雰囲気がいいんですよね。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    When it's said that Japanese GP at Suzuka came to an end in 2006, my father bought tickets and brought me over here. Then I was hooked on the speed, sound, and beauty. So many people at the circuit! It's so impressive for me as well.

    Used to be Ferrari, but now Red Bull because HONDA's involved in it.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    I've alreay watched 10 times or so. Couldn't make it for a while because of COVID. So, I'd been dying to come for this time!

    [have been to]Australia and Malaysia GP. It was fun, but Suzuka felt better for me. Maybe, the atmosphere makes me feel that way.

    Suzuka town is not very much recommendable, but there's a shrine in the circuit that maybe the one worth visiting.

    F1を好きになったきっかけを教えてください。
    もともとF1は好きだったけど、NetFlixの『Drive and Survive』を見てから、のめり込むようになった。そこから各ドライバーだったりレースの裏側で起こっているドラマだったりを学ぶようになったんだ。
    推しチーム&ドライバーを教えてください。
    現状では、リアム・ローソン。彼はキィウィ・ドライバーだから。でも、ルイス・ハミルトンとジョージ・ラッセルも好きだ。
    日本グランプリ観戦を決めた理由はなんでしょうか？
    ちょっとした幸運で来ることになった。もともと日本旅行を予定していていろいろ予約していたんだけど、ちょうど同じ時期に鈴鹿でF1があるって気づいた。もうひとつラッキーだったのは、日本GPがあると気づいた翌日がチケットの販売日だったんだ。

    鈴鹿以外に観光に行く予定はありますか？
    日本GPが一番最後の予定で、東京、京都、広島を巡って名古屋に来た。どの街でも観光スポットをメインに回った。

    今回の来日（日本グランプリ観戦）で困ったこと、大変だったことは？
    何も問題はなかった。新幹線で移動したんだけど、とても快適に旅をすることができた。レストランやホテルでは少し言葉の壁を感じることもあったけど、Google翻訳があるしOK。日本の人は親切だしね。

    ラーメン、天ぷら、広島タイプのお好み焼き。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    Mostly ‘Drive to Survive’ the TV show. So, I've always liked Formula 1, but I think when I started watching the TV show, it really got me into it. And I've started learning about all the drivers and all the drama that goes on behind the scenes. So, it’s quite exciting.

    Liam Lawson because he's a Kiwi. But I do like Lewis Hamilton and George Russell as well.
    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    It was honestly a little bit of luck. We booked our trip and then we realized that the Grand Prix was going to be on at the same time.

    We've been to Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima. Now Nagoya for the F1.

    What trouble or difficulty after you arrived to Japan
    It's very, very easy. With all the trains and the Shinkansen, it's very easy. A little bit of the language barrier, but we have got Google Translate, so it's okay.

    The Ramen, the tempura, the Hiroshima style, Okonomiyaki.

    小学生のときに夜中にたまたま見たのがきっかけです。フェルナンド・アロンソが出てきたときでした。ミハエル・シューマッハーが復活したけれど、まわりに抜かれていく様も衝撃的でした。

    子どもがやっと大きくなったのと、家族にも好きになってもらえたので来ることができました。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    I happened to watch F1 on TV at mid-night when I was in elementary school. Alonso was emerging as the new champion. Micheal Schumacher made a comeback in 2010 but was simply outrun by young drivers. A shocking scene for me to see.

    いや、とても快適に移動することができた。もし迷子になっても、人々が手助けしてくれるし、とても親切丁寧で説明も分かりやすかった。

    we've always wanted to come to Japan, always talked about it.　It's just a great experience, and we thought, why not. Might as well make the most of it.

    No. Everything has really been easy. We've had help. If we looked lost, people would come up and ask if we needed help. Very polite, very understanding, explanation really well.

    We love Sushi, dumplings, noodles, shaved ice.

    Chopsticks, 'I Love Japan' shirt, magnet for the fridge.

    父が好きで週末ずっと流れていたので、見るしかない状態で一緒に見ていました。昔は地上波でいまはCSです。

    最初はルイス・ハミルトンでしたが、いまはジョージ・ラッセルです！

    My father fixed the TV channel on F1 all day, and I had no other choice but to watch it together with him. It used be a OTA programme but now a pay TV, Ugh!

    大学の長期休みにちょうど日本GPがあったから。同時に日本を見て回りたかったんだ。

    The reason I'm interested in F1.
    I think both of us have always liked cars from a young age, and Formula 1 is sort of the pinnacle of the sport. So, it's exciting to see what you can achieve with the most amount of technology and money.

    University break is the same time as Japanese Grand Prix. And we wanted to explore Japan as well.

    We were in Tokyo last week. We looked around Shibuya, Shinjuku, all that area, and then traveled around Kyoto. We're going to Osaka.

    鈴鹿が好きでここで観戦したかったし、母国のラスベガスは高いから。日本で観戦するよりもっとお金がかかる。それに日本のモータースポーツにずっと興味があった。SUPER GTやスーパーフォーミュラも見ているし、鈴鹿は有名なコース。だから、鈴鹿でF1を見るのがベストだと思った。

    I've always been interested in Japanese motorsports. I also watch Super GT and Super Formula and other racing stuff here. Just Suzuka is famous. I've always wanted to come to see a race at Suzuka, and I figured the Japanese Grand Prix was the best one to do.

    I really like Max Verstappen. I love Checo because I am Mexican American. It gives me pride to see him do good. Logan Sargeant because he's an American boy, kind of fun to watch, and Alex Albon. I love him. He's a good driver. Good potential.

    A long time, so favorite driver is Ayrton Senna, and then Michael Schumacher. Also, I work for Toyota, so I cheered for the Toyota F1 team when they were still part of the sport. NASCAR and IndyCar are more popular but ever since Netflix, ‘Drive to Survive’ series, actually, Formula 1 has become more popular than NASCAR and IndyCar.

    The reason why I decided to come and watch Japanese GP.
    Because we were so close, being in Okinawa. Suzuka has got a lot of history. It's a very fun track.
