Event Information

The first event that marks the beginning of the F1 Japanese Grand Prix. From the pit road, you can see the pits where each team prepares.

Pit Walk will be held at the same time. You can walk on the main straight on your own feet the day before the free practice.

There is no driver signing event.

IndyCar driver Takuma Sato, who has won the Indy 500 twice, SUPER FORMULA Kids com Team KCMG team ambassador Tsugio Matsuda, 2021-22 Super Formula champion Tomonori Noguchi, and Haas F1 Team representative Reo Komatsu are scheduled to hold a talk show.

At the pre-race party held in front of the Grandstand, there will be a talk show featuring F1 drivers and personnel.

This is a Pit Walk that can only be attended by those who have F1 race tickets and are accompanied by children in junior high school or younger.

Night Pit Walk where you can see the home straight and the tense pit up close on the eve of the final race.
It is expected to be very crowded. In order for many people to be able to watch, please proceed without stopping during the Pit Walk. Thank you for your cooperation.

After the pre-race party, the home straight is open at night before the final race the next day. This is a rare opportunity to walk on the home straight at night.

We will invite a variety of guests and hold a talk show.

This is a traditional event where F1 drivers parade around the racing course before the final race.

On April 7th (Sunday), during the pre-race ceremony, Air Self-Defense Force Central Air Music Band vocalist and pianist, Sergeant Third Class Saki Morita, will perform a solo of the national anthem accompanied by the Air Self-Defense Force Central Air Music Band.

＜Central Air Music Band＞
Since its establishment in 1976, the Central Air Music Band has been based at the Hamamatsu Air Base (Shizuoka Prefecture) and has been performing in the widest area of 1 metropolis, 2 prefectures, and 23 prefectures from the southern part of Tohoku to the Kansai region as a direction music band of the Self-Defense Forces. We aim to deliver performances that reach your hearts from the "City of Music" Hamamatsu, and we strive for it every day.

Vocalist and Pianist for the Air Self-Defense Force Central Band.
Studied piano, electone, and composition at Yamaha Music School since childhood. Graduated from Aichi Prefectural Meiwa High School Music Department and Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts Music Department Vocal Major.
Assigned to the Air Self-Defense Force and joined the Air Central Music Band in 2017.
After being assigned, we perform at concerts, national events, and international events all over the country. In addition, we have received high praise from both domestic and international audiences through performances at the German International Military Music Festival, the Dutch International Military Music Festival, the French Albertville International Military Music Festival, and the Japan-Vietnam Defense Exchange.

A new Fan Zone will be set up near the Spoon Curve L area, where you can test your skills on a Racing Simulator, take photos with F1® drivers at the photo booth, and see the display of the F1® Drivers' Championship Trophy. We have prepared exclusive content that can only be enjoyed here at the Racing Theater.

In addition, please enjoy watching in the West Area, where a large tent area with music by a DJ and a bar counter, as well as food and drink booths and large monitors are set up. Thank you for your understanding.

During the F1 week, all drivers will decorate the symbol of Suzuka Circuit, the "Circuit Wheel", with a colorful design wrapping featuring cherry blossom visuals for the 2024 Japanese Grand Prix. As a service, the admission ticket includes a 4-day Park Passport (unlimited rides on attractions) from April 4th (Thursday) to April 7th (Sunday), so be sure to take a ride and enjoy the spectacular view from above!

License Center or Menkyo Center, we will be selling limited edition commemorative plastic license cards with a 2024 Japanese Grand Prix design. You can choose to have your own face photo printed or not.

※There is no age restriction for creating a card.

Write a message of support for your favorite driver on a ribbon and tie it to the Sakura Grandstand or the dedicated grandstand! The Sakura Grandstand will be on display in the F1® Paddock on April 7th (Sunday).
