Received the top award in the ESG (Environment/Social/Governance) category at the Formula 1 Promoter Awards 2025

Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, operated by Honda Mobilityland Corporation, received the top award in the ESG (Environment/Social/Governance) category, the "ESG Changemaker presented by Allwyn," at the "Formula 1 Promoter Awards 2025" hosted by Formula 1.

This award is presented to promoters among all 24 Grands Prix hosting the world’s premier motorsport, F1, which demands strict and advanced environmental standards. It recognizes those who place the principles of ESG (Environment/Social/Governance) at the core of event management and continuously implement effective improvements, including environmental initiatives, collaboration with local communities, and transparent event operations. Suzuka Circuit was highly evaluated for its quantitatively supported achievements such as achieving carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 emissions in event operations, improving resource recycling rates, strengthening low-carbon mobility, and providing extensive access to the local community, leading to this top award recognition.

Additionally, at the same awards, the integration of the culture of Mie and Suzuka—the host region—and the uniquely Japanese hospitality throughout the entire event was highly praised, leading to a nomination for the "Outstanding Cultural Identity" award, which is given to events that incorporate the host location’s unique culture, traditions, and scenery into the visitor experience.

Suzuka Circuit will continue to promote sustainability through motorsports while valuing the unique cultural assets of Japan, striving to realize an international event that grows together with the local community.
