Reddish-colored Kinsen is of the iron sodium chloride high salt. The effect of salt gives you long-term warmth and softens the poor circulation and lower back pain. Ginsen is colorless carbon dioxide, or radon springs. Carbon dioxide is effective mainly for hypertension, and radon spring is effective for the pains in the joints that are caused by rheumatoid arthritis and gout. Inns and hotels offer the one-day bath, and there are municipal public baths. If you visit Arima Onsen, please make sure you take both “Kin no Yu (golden water)” and “Gin no Yu (silver water)” and compare with each other. The fine water that Toyotomi Hideyoshi also loved will soak through your body.
